Once simply a small, quaint fishing village on the Sea of Cortez, the Puerto Peñasco
of today is a burgeoning tourist mecca offering every modern convenience plus
all of the traditional charm and culture the region is known for.
Located on Sea of Cortez, or Gulf of California, Puerto Peñasco has long been known for its deep blue waters and white sand beaches. The resort town is easily accessed via modern, divided highways from both Arizona and Southern California. In addition, charter flights will soon be available through the new Mar de Cortes International Airport.
